There are many choice programs in Palm Beach North, where students can enter academies that expose them early to careers and set expectations for college majors. Palm Beach North features several A-rated Charter Schools run by non-profit organizations. Choose from schools like Gardens School for Technical Arts (elementary and middle) which offers a technologically rich curriculum with exposure to digital design, engineering, and robotics; Inlet Grove Community High School, which offers 10 diverse career academies from nursing (LPN) to journalism and pre-engineering; and Riviera Beach Maritime Academy, which focuses on marine science and technology programs.

International Baccalaureate (IB) Programs

International Baccalaureate programs provide challenging and rewarding curriculum, with focus areas spanning a multitude of academic disciplines and the arts. Suncoast High School, located in the heart of Riviera Beach, features a renowned IB program as well as three magnet programs. Suncoast is ranked among the best public high schools in the state and country in 2016 by the U.S. News & World Report, coming in ninth among Florida High Schools (the highest in Palm Beach County), and 57th nationally.
